Snapshots of Impact:

A quick look back as we go forward

BUT FIRST!

A reminder of For the One’s mission

We are passionate about educating the public concerning human sex trafficking, finding real ways to stop it from happening in the first place and changing the way the public views human trafficking victims.

What is the Vulnerable No More Campaign?

We are an action based human trafficking prevention campaign which empowers the community through free live and virtual events and presentations. We define and expose the strategies of sex traffickers, recruiters, and groomers to our most vulnerable children and young adults and equip them with tools they can use to become Vulnerable No More.

PHASE 3 SURVIVOR SUPPORT

In 2022, we continued our collaborative partnership with

  • NM Dream Center

  • AZ Dream Center

  • Refuge for Women

  • Redeemed Ministries

Our goal is to accomplish the shared mission of providing ongoing emergency financial support for survivors of trafficking who are attempting to sustain successful, mostly independent lives.

Refuge for Women

You have helped provide 325 wellness appointments this year, and we have launched a Survivor Support Group that meets once a week.

You have provided many education sources for our residents - GEDs, driver's licenses, certification classes, and discovering their God-given talents. Identities are being and have been restored. Reading this list of milestones is such a beautiful reminder of what happens when a community comes together to love and care for one another.Thank you doesn't seem like a big enough sentiment when it comes to expressing our gratitude for the part you are playing in the life transformation of the women we serve” - Refuge for Women

In 2022, we utilized Phase 3 support in several ways. One of our Phase 3 clients lives with her Father who was unable to assist with some crucial & expensive medical appointments. Because of the funding we received we were able to pay for the eye injections and a much-needed CT scan of her brain. We also utilized some of the funding to offset expenses in our graduate housing program, providing a new mattress & other basic needs for the ladies. We provided diapers and clothing for one client, and assisted other minor expenses. Having the ability to jump in and help out in these areas gave those clients a little extra peace knowing we were someone they could call. Thank you so much for your support!!

Thank you FTO for your consistent support of the Phase 3 survivors served by New Mexico Dream Center. We’ve had 17 clients attain phase 3 status in 2022 and the funding provided has helped with things like- dental services, an emergency vet bill for a service dog, transportation for a new job, deductible for car repairs, the cost required for nursing school licenses exam, and legal fees to get identity fraud off a credit report. FTO- thank you for helping make clients dreams come true!

Vulnerable No More Campaigns Event

March 4, 2022

Our first ever LIVE co-ed event was held on March 4, 2022 with the most powerful and popular segment being the Q&A Panel. Stacked with law enforcement agents and specialists from Anti-Sex trafficking organizations such as Shared Hope International, Just Men and NM DreamCenter; it was the most informative experience for attendees to be armed with powerful prevention information!

We are actively working on a date and venue for our next co-ed event in 2023.

Follow us on Instagram to be the first to know the date!

Christmas Drive 2022

This is our favorite time of the year!! Our 4th annual drive was a huge success thanks to the generosity of all our community partners and donors! An anonymous For The One partner matched all donations dollar for dollar. Our final total after donations were doubled was $15,402 which allowed us to extravagantly bless 44 survivors and their families!

If you gave, THANK YOU! You made this possible! If you weren’t able to this year we have good news… you can help next year if you want to!

Here are a few comments from survivors

I would like to say thank you for all the help and making mine and my daughters Christmas extra special. We weren’t really expecting much of anything this year and for her first Christmas like it was more than magical and it made me happy to see her smile, even though she won’t really remember too much of it. I got to capture those memories for myself. I am forever grateful for everything that y’all do, and continue to do not only for us but the rest of the community as well.

I would like to say thank you for the gift cards that made my family’s Christmas blessed beyond what I had imagined. There were a few times before the holidays when I didn’t think Christmas was going to happen but you all were an answer to prayer. To know that strangers came together to show the love of Christ and truly share the spirit of Christmas with us shows the beauty and love of Christ is still alive and well today! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! God bless you all!

moving Forward

Our vision for 2023 and how we plan to accomplish it

1) Expand our reach through social media by opening accounts on TikTok and Instagram to strategically post bi-weekly content that provides prevention and awareness to a target audience of 11-20 year olds. All ages will be welcome to view and share to help extend our reach. Account establishment and content creation already underway.

2) Continue Phase 3 Partnership and Suppport

3) FTO/VNM free multi media presentation curriculum development. Currently gathering content and consulting with DJP regarding its creation.

4) Continue to actively explore hosting a free 4th quarter FTO/VNM co-ed event. We are currently waiting to hear back from a potential new venue.

5) Continue in person and zoom prevention presentations. Posting monthly reminders to our online community that we are available to be booked for these sessions at any time.

6) 2023 Christmas fundraiser. Our vision is to extend our reach to bless 50+ survivors and their families. The drive will begin 11/24/23.
